Journal Entry 02/02/2025
I’m taking a break from my projects for a while. I just need some time to step back, reset, and breathe. I’ll return when I’m ready.
This is the first break I’ve taken since starting these projects. While there’s some guilt, I know it’s necessary—I’m completely drained and out of ideas.
For now, I might just play some video games and detach from this self-imposed responsibility.
I’ve gathered around 30 academic papers and documents—mostly ethnographic, cultural, and linguistic studies on Northeast India and tribal communities—and saved them to my Google Drive. They’re mostly PDFs, unstructured, and in need of cleanup, but I don’t have the energy to tackle that right now. I’ll get to it when I’m back.
I’m satisfied with the progress I’ve made so far, even if it’s small. As someone learning along the way, I realize I should be proud of myself.
The guilt remains, but I need to be careful not to burn out. Taking this break is necessary.
